Users in Japan will very soon be able to get their hands on the upgraded new version of the PlayStation VR. In anticipation, Sony have released a series of videos related to the upgraded version of the device.
The new version has a slightly sleeker form factor, built-in audio, a revised version of the processing unit as well as a HDR pass-through for 4K television users.
The new video series gives consumers a full breakdown on the new version of the PlayStation VR, showing users what they can expect to find in the box, an overview of each component such as the new headphones. The second video shows a guide on how to set up and configure a PlayStation VR and PlayStation Camera, with the set-up guide covering the original version of the headset as well as the new version and noting the differences.
The final video contains some ‘best practice’ tips on the best way to set up an area for using the PlayStation VR, containing advice on lighting levels, sight lines and clearing the room of obstacles.
The videos are in Japanese, but are available to view below. The new version of the PlayStation VR will be available in Japan from 14th October, 2017.
